[#593] Dear Agony

Leave me alone
God let me go
I’m blue and cold
Black sky will burn
Love pull me down
Hate lift me up
Just turn around
There’s nothing left

Breaking Benjamin, ♫Dear Agony

When the idea for this blog first came into my brain I wasn’t 100% sure how I wanted to go about it or how it would be received; I had to keep in mind that this is predominantly my space and I choose what is posted here. Very little do I like to talk about myself in any capacity even though I’m told that it is a Leo trait to be about yourself.

This site has always been about emotions in every degree you can think of. One day I might post something like I am today and the next post could be funny, light hearted, romantic or even *gasp* sexy. That’s just how this journey called life goes and one cannot exist without the other and that is what I personally believe.

The song I’ve chosen, “Dear Agony” could be construed many different ways. It can be looked at as someone with depression and suicidal thoughts or it could be thought of as someone dealing with an addiction/substance abuse problems and are seeking a means to pull themselves out of their predicament. The way it is personalized for me is that I deal with pain on a consistent basis due to chronic back issues that I have had for over 10 years that have no way of ever being normal. In a sense I feel like I’m slowly drowning sometimes with the knowledge that down the road it will likely reach a point that I don’t want to think about and that is what lead me to setting up the scene as I did.

Somehow I have willed myself to stay off of any mainstream painkillers but some days getting out of bed feels unbearable but I don’t want to be confined to staying in one spot all the time. I’m not in a position where a surgical procedure is required and even if it were a possibility the chance of it making my situation worse is too risky for me to consider.

This song resonates for me because I constantly wish to be in a place where I was before all of this started but I know it isn’t possible. I get through by being creative in a virtual world that I can do whatever I please and the photos I take that turn into these blogs are something that keeps my mind off of everything else. I don’t necessarily like putting stuff like this out in the world because I’m not a martyr, I’m just a person that struggles like everyone else. Perhaps it is something that when someone reads it they think “This person is like me, they understand the kind of thing I’m going through”. This struggle has put me in some dark places but I refuse to let it pull me in completely.

I may not enjoy sharing pieces of my life in detail but I don’t regret it either.

Okay…so I’m done with the heavy stuff now and I can get into the fun part of the blog which is about events, products, and the creation process and not necessarily in that order. I’m not quite sure how I managed to pull off getting this image to be even remotely close to how I saw it in my head but I can say that trying some new things might have helped.

Last year I entertained the thought of giving the Black Dragon viewer a try because many of my peers were doing some really cool things with it. I installed it and for me it was complicated enough that I said to hell with it and let the idea go that it might help my work out. It wasn’t until a few nights ago that I chose to give it another try and the worst that could happen is that I get frustrated and ditch it again. This time around though I watched helpful tutorials and took some of the confusion out of it and modeled my settings after the ones used by one of my favorite pose makers who uses it for their photos.

I’d like to know if you think if it’s made a difference?

I feel very fortunate that Modulus has quite a few releases at various events at the moment because I can keep my hair game on point. The Men’s Department is where the “Troy Hair” can be found and I remember when the product ad first showed up on Facebook, my friend Jason, said that he felt everyone had a stuck up Troy in their lives. I can say that I’ve never had the pleasure or displeasure of knowing anyone named Troy personally. So Jason if the Troy you knew wasn’t on your favorite list you can just look at this photo and take satisfaction to know I drowned him! (That’s a bit much but my humor is odd sometimes).

With the angle of the camera and the way the hair naturally flows it gives the effect of movement in the water as longer hair does when you are swimming. It’s not always easy when going for realism to get something to work without manipulation but I choose not to. Manipulating anything (especially products from a store I blog for) wouldn’t be right but luckily for me with Modulus I don’t have to.

For the outfit, I’m wearing some items that I had in my closet and I’m super certain have blogged in the past. Usually I tend not to go into extensive detail about those. That’s how I feel about items that are at least more than 2 or 3 months old (in this case at least a year). To be honest I give the most coverage to my brands and events that have new things out and also if there’s something that I find outside of that which excites me then I’ll make that a main feature as well.

This photo would not have been possible without the “Serene Pool” skybox from Paparazzi. This highly detailed indoor pool room comes complete with materials and lighting to give it a very realistic look for photography and it looks even better in the Black Dragon viewer with the right settings. There were actually several other ideas I had for this skybox but ultimately the photo that resulted from this shoot was my main idea. There’s nothing saying that I can’t use it again in the future for another blog taken from the vantage point from above the water right?

On that note, I think it’s time for me to wrap this blog post up so I can get it out into the universe as I am super proud of how the picture turned out. It may be the idea of it being the first one I’ve ever done with the Black Dragon viewer but I feel like it has a different feel to it then some of my previous work and time will tell the story of if I stick with this method or go back to what I was done.

Now I’m off to go crank some tunes and put a new look together for a little idea I have for the next blog. For all of you out there that might have experience with any of the feelings this blog might have brought about, we’re all in this together and we just have to do whatever is necessary to live our best lives. Take care until the next one everyone.

Kindest regards,

Brennan

[#592] Drifting

Don’t tell me you can’t love yourself
You can love yourself, like you never felt
Can tell you I was scared to try
Don’t be scared to try, if you look inside
You could be anything
I could be anything

Adelitas Way, ♫Drifting

Today was the first time I’ve visited the Ironwood Hills sim a long time and on and off there were talks of it closing so I wanted to at least take one more shot there that was recent if it indeed decides to shut down for good. The latter would be a shame because it’s a fantastically put together post-apocalyptic landmark that I took a lot of photos in the earlier part of my blogging career when it was fresh and new.

It was one of the first I considered to visit first when the idea for this photo came into my brain. The idea circled around of me dressed up predominantly in black looking pretty rough like the world had taken its toll and that I’ve spent most of my time drinking whiskey (or whatever I could get my hands on). I arrived and started scouting when I found a run down decayed building with a fire escape that lead up to a fire barrel and a decrepit mattress (which didn’t make the cut in the photo I completed).

This was where I needed to work my magic.

I have to say that the look I put together for this blog is one of my favorites. This is the type of style that suits me well (in my mind) and likely would wear every day if it wouldn’t weird me out by not changing clothes (and I do often because of being a blogger). Black is not really a color as far as most are concerned but it is one of my favorites as far as clothing goes, however, wearing black in every look would not be productive for me or for anyone who visits.

My hairstyle really fits well in the environment as it appears unkempt (not dirty or unwashed just uncombed). “Sawyer” is brought to you by Modulus at Uber and it’s great that us guys can get things at the event too and who better than a great hair brand? Of course it is a medium length messy style that works to bring about the pessimistic, heavy drinking, non shaving, down on his luck kind of guy that I envisioned.

The more I think about it as I listen to “Drifting” it was the best choice and really only choice to be the soundtrack of this blog post. The picture and the lyrics in the song to me coincide to tell a story and it can be interpreted whatever way the mind of the readers want it to. That’s the best thing about photos just like with music…it can mean different things to different people and not all are the same.

Several months ago ::K:: released the “Sephiroth Coat” at TMD and normally I grab stuff I really like when it first comes out but somehow I managed to forget about it and didn’t realize it until TMD was already over for that round. I am pretty sure that it was the December round which makes a lot of sense because it was a super busy month for me with many things dividing my attention.

I gave it a bit of time before I took a trip to the flagship store and it was there waiting for me with open arms and I didn’t hesitate; I’m a sucker for long coats (if there was something to blame for that it’s likely both a combination of Highlander and The Crow). Then I left it in my inventory for a bit because there wasn’t an idea suitable enough for me to bother opening it up…until the last few days.

Slowly I put my plan together of what hairstyle I was going to do and then also what pants and shoes (which are not visible to really talk about them but I have blogged them before) to pair them with and because I would feel bad for not mentioning them I will at least give them an honorable mention. One of my easy go to pairs of pants are Cold-Ash’s “Dean Chinos” because they go with just about everything and fit superbly. I’ve worn them quite often even in photos that you might not recognize that I’m wearing them because I’m really a fan of them.

My shoes are from A&D and are called “Firenze”, they are similar in style to an oxford shoe but not completely. I consider these a go to as well when I’m wearing pants that are not fit for boots or ankle boots as well as when sneakers will not compliment the rest of the outfit. They are certainly worth giving a look and have been around a bit as well as have had an update to them at one point.

The most important part though is not just the location that helped tell the story but the pose itself. Reve Obscura makes some of the best and easily affordable poses on the grid plus the creator behind the store is a cool dude as well (I’ve spoken to him a time or so via Facebook). This pose and prop set contains everything you need to be the best lush you can possibly be from the bottle of liquor down to the half full glass in hand. I promise you that if you’re looking for poses you won’t be able to leave Reve Obscura without buying something because it’s inspired you.

On that note I really should wrap things up before it gets to be too late. I have a few other ideas I want to entertain before I call it an evening (which includes some outfit prep for future blogs). I definitely encourage you to take the taxi’s to the stores and events left in the style credits because as a journalist of sorts it’s my job to help bring readers to things that are new or maybe new to them.

The pleasure’s been all mine and hope that you’ll be back again for the next one which I’d expect will be done in the next day or so. Until then be safe, be well, and be your best self because it’s all we can really do to help make the world function a tad better.

Best regards,

Brennan

[#590] Falling Inside The Black

You were my source of strength
I’ve traded everything
That I love for this one thing
(Stranded in the offering)
Don’t leave me here like this
Can’t hear me scream from the abyss
And now I wish for you my desire

Skillet, ♫Falling Inside The Black

It’s not very often that I shoot photos that lack a background but I made an exception for the idea that became the idea for this blog. The concept has been swirling in my head for more than a year but I just didn’t have the right things to make it happen until the last week or two and I’ll break it down as I write this.

Before I get any further I want to talk about the song that became the soundtrack for this blog. “Falling Inside The Black” was the first song I remember hearing by the band Skillet and yes they have a funny name but the music they make easily could fuel the soundtracks of many people lives (mine included). The song was used in a video I had watched on YouTube and little did I know that it would spider through many things over the years.

Some time passed after I first heard it and then I started hanging out with Lucky (our friendship goes well beyond the virtual world) and we bonded over music as it is both a passion of ours and we happen to like most of the similar things. He reintroduced me into Skillet and I had remembered them from the video I had seen a while back and it was just meant to be that I started listening to them more and became a solid fan of theirs almost as if I had been right from the start.

I take a lot of care when I use their songs as a part of ideas for blogs because I want to get it right and not be a disservice of what their music means to me. To this day I have seen them about a half dozen times going to festivals with Lucky and even to other shows they have been a part of as it has become sort of a tradition for us.

Music has the power to do many things. It has the power to lift us when we are down, it also can heal wounds in our hearts and minds and it can also help us cement lifelong friendships and bonds. Skillet is one of those for me and as I said they may have a name that makes people scratch their head but when I introduce them to some of what I like about them it seems as if it catches on and increases the fanbase.

As much as I love the events and stores that I blog for, when I have downtime from both I like showcasing items that likely might not find their way onto the blog because they don’t fit with the items I have chosen. So with that in mind I’m going to start out with the body paint that suits this idea perfectly and is reminiscent to a certain anti-hero from the comics world.

MooLoo Body Art’s “Starry Eye Body Paint” reminds me of symbiosis and the way that I’m using it in this particular blog is to show how the darkness is beginning to take over and in time could possibly control everything that I do if I choose not to fight it. The way this paint is used in application is very clever and I think I am very fortunate to be a blogger for MooLoo Body Art and that this was created for me to stretch out my creative legs.

MooLoo Body Art – Starry Eye Body Paint

  • Omega Face/Neck Applier
  • Body Applier for Belleza (M/F), Omega, Signature and SLink (M/F) mesh bodies
  • Available at the MooLoo Body Art’s store and marketplace

There is nothing more rewarding then when you miss an item at an event by a day and the store finally puts it out for sale. This is the case with the “Vulture Talons” from Contraption. I had seen them in a photo and had a major desire to own them but when I tried to go to the event (Equal10 in this case) it had already ended the previous day. Sometimes I’m not known for my patience and every few days I would check back with no sign of them in sight. It was then that I felt it was best to not do this to myself because it would just be a disappointment so I waited an even longer time before I went back and the next time I did they were finally there and I snatched them up fast and went to my platform to put them on.

Contraption makes really neat things and I have been a fan of theirs as far back as their first music machines at the Arcade so many years ago. They also make masks and other steampunk and gothic type products and these talons are one of them. The box contains these hand accessories that are fitted for the widely popular mesh bodies and also with a HUD to change different areas of the metal with an array of colors. I went with silver and black for this photo because it was meant to be in a dark setting as I played with darkness.

It adds to the appearance that I am giving in to the darkest reaches of my soul.

One of the things I like about the virtual world is that I can purchase and wear things that I may not wear in my real life for a multitude of reasons. Arm warmers are one such thing that I have never owned but at many times would have liked to own and the newly released ones by Gild at FaMESHed added something to this look as well in combination with the talons. Putting them on the same arm allowed me to keep my left arm bare and to be able to stay in the shadows as it is not in the forefront of the pose.

Black was the easiest choice for me (because I couldn’t see buying the fatpack and wearing the other colors) taking into consideration everything I was doing in this photo. For those of you that are interested they come fitted for Belleza (Jake) and both Signature bodies (Geralt+Gianni) mesh bodies; I of course am wearing Gianni and the fit is great. I recommend these for those who are just fashionisto’s or going to be doing weather related photos as they will add that extra something.

It’s that time for me so on that note I am going to turn over to the credits so you guys can go get some shopping in (for those of you who will be busy tomorrow for the big football game). This blog was a joy for me even with it being a bit on the darker side as it gave me the opportunity to try some things that I wanted to experiment with as far as lighting; it came out to my expectation which is any artists wish.

Until we’re all back here for another conversation, I wish everyone well and to show one another compassion and kindness. Fans of good rock should click the link up at the top and give Skillet a try and if you do maybe leave a comment because I do read them.

Best wishes,

Brennan

[#589] The Nights

One day my father—he told me,
“Son, don’t let it slip away.”
He took me in his arms, I heard him say,

“When you get older
Your wild heart will live for younger days.
Think of me if ever you’re afraid.”

Aviccii, ♫The Nights

Now that my area is beginning to thaw out from the negative temperatures, I thought I’d throw in a post to try and warm everyone (including myself) up. Even though I have never been much of a beach going person in the real world I still hold an appreciation for it. In the virtual world I tend to go to them to admire the beauty they possess and to also send positive warmth as best I can.

This blog entry if anything is another test of sorts of getting back into the swing of things before my event duties begin. The pose that I’m using is from a set that I used from the January edition of Pose Fair (that ended about a week ago which is also when I came down with a bit of a cold). Lush Poses “12 Months of Hunkiness” is a versatile set to say the least because it gave me the ability to do the shower scene in a previous blog and now to standing on a beach giving off a confident masculine vibe.

My focus for this blog though is the outfit I am wearing. I was recently contacted by Luis Crowne, owner of MAZA asking if I’d be interested in blogging an item from his store. This is a thing that is partially new to me as I’ve always applied to be on blogger teams save for certain situations where store owners know that they are able to count on me if they send me an item, knowing that I’ll feature it. Review copies are an option that I will continue to entertain as long as the fit is right.

The “Summer Jumpsuit” was inclination enough for me to borrow a beach build that my brother, Lucky, had created to take a few pics himself; I wanted to make sure that I got it in before he decided to pick it up.

Getting back to the jumpsuit, I really liked the design in the “Grayish Black” version even though there were several other choices in the collection I really liked. The texturing is rather nice as well as the way that it works with lighting along with the combined windlights and lighting culminated into a beautiful scene that at its core was peaceful.

I’d like to thank Louis for thinking my work is worthy enough for him to approach me to showcase his work; I hope that we can also work together again in the future!

MAZA – Summer Jumpsuit (Grayish Black)

  • Original Mesh
  • One of 10 different colors/patterns
  • Fitted for Belleza (Jake), Signature (Geralt+Gianni) and SLink Physique mesh bodies
  • Available right now on the SL Marketplace

Doing shorter blogs like this makes it easier on me as far as it isn’t as time consuming as when I do one that is loaded with items because as anyone that visits this site on a constant or semi-constant basis knows that I tend to wordy. I also tend to lead myself into run-on sentences which probably make it unbearable (I do read back things sometimes a day or so later and wonder what I was thinking).

On that note I believe it is time to get to the credits which there are not as many of as I just mentioned but you’ll know the items and where to get them and that is the most important thing to me. I started blogging because I once contacted a blogger about an item and they were reluctant at best to tell me where the item came from. As it turns out it was something that was no longer available (which I’ve also made it a point to tell people in my blogs).

I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm, safe and living their best life. See all of you again very soon!

Best regards,

Brennan

[#588] You Don’t Look Back

When will you learn?
I’m not your boy
You don’t look back
Why do I pick up your slack?

Filter, ♫Jurassitol

I apologize for the lack of new posts but I’ve been under the weather for the last week or so and it caught up to me in the last few. To give myself a little bit if a needed break I decided to refrain from partaking in any kind of photo taking or blogging until I felt in the right state to do it and this is my way of testing the water a little bit.

I have a little bit of time before any new commitments blogging wise come up so I decided to try my hand at something I usually reserve for Halloween, which is do photographs inspired by The Crow. I’ve loosely associated this photo with the second film in the series, City of Angels and while nothing will ever come close to the originals I enjoyed it as best as I could because I wasn’t expecting anything so I wasn’t disappointed.

The version of the the character, Ash, was a mechanic who rides a motorcycle in the film so this is my tribute to it but not as closely based as my previous photos related to the original film.

Everything I used for this photo are non-current event items that I pulled together however there is a new release that is store specific in the form of the “Leather Leggings” that I am wearing from NOCHE. That’s right, I couldn’t pass these up because I am a fan of things that are made of leather…(wallets, jackets, shoes and of course pants or leggings as these are). There is also a latex version that came out at the same time if you’re more into that than leather which is alright too. But you can get your leggings fix on by going to the main store and checking these out.

NOCHE – Leather Leggings (Black)

  • Original mesh
  • Materials for advanced lighting
  • 3 different sizes for male “package”
  • Fitted sizes for Belleza (Jake) and Signature (Geralt & Gianni) mesh bodies

Sometimes putting photos together can be difficult as far as poses go. Trying to find the right thing to make the setting perfect so while I was trying to find the perfect motorcycle prop and pose set, I ended up combining the bike from WetCat’s recent “Young Blood” couples pose with Poseidon Poses “Action Bike” pose set (took them out of the bike and threw the pose I wanted into a poseball). Combining them worked out for me because it gave me the look I wanted from the start; sometimes improvising is the best answer to getting the results I’m looking for.

I love long coats (duster’s and trenches or anything in that family) and through a photo I saw on Facebook, I was introduced to one I’d never seen before by Lenox. It surprised me because I’m usually pretty good at keeping up with releases from the store with many of them residing in my closet already. I made a run for the store and instantly grabbed all of them because who knows when I may need this in another color down the road (pun intended of course). The fit is great and it also has materials to give it an extra special look with advanced lighting much like the leggings I paired it with.

On that note though I think I am going to leave you all with the credits and at least say that if anyone might be interested in the face pain I have on it is one that’s been retired for quite a while so it’s something that unfortunately cannot be purchased. Hopefully though someone will come along and and perhaps make an newer version that could be even better.

I am going to go find some more things to bundle up with and be back again soon providing I don’t freeze to death in the great freezover of 2019. Hope you’ve enjoy my brief little post and I look forward to getting back more into the swing of things in the next few days as February is now upon us. Until then be will, stay safe and treat others as you’d like being treated.

Best regards,

Brennan

[#587] The Devil’s In The Next Room

Pick it up, pick it up, pick it up
Pick up the phone
You said it yourself you’re scared of being alone
You said it yourself that you can crack the code
But the static you hear automatically keeps you exposed on your own

Shinedown, ♫Devil

Not many television shows have had the longevity that Supernatural has had for the last 14 years. It is one of my favorite shows and that fact they can still keep my attention this long tells me that they are doing something right. I’ve started some shows in the past that I never ended up finishing (The Vampire Diaries which I was gladly able to pick back up on Netflix). The adventures that the brothers Winchester go on are very exciting no matter what they or their acquintances (friends and family as well) get into.

I have done several posts displaying my fandom for the show from the perspectives of Sam & Dean as well as done on where I had a friend play Castiel. However, not once did I ever think about doing something that pays homage to one of the many antagonists on the show: the demons. During my post processing I had an issue where the black smoke I wanted coming out of the meat suit (the vessel the demon is hiding out in as referenced by the show). It was too dark so I decided to go with red, which man of the higher ups in the demon world have when “smoking out” of a vessel. Notably Crowley and I believe Lucifer himself have displayed the crimson version to my knowledge. There have probably been others but having been on the air for 14 seasons (and rewatching them from the beginning would take forever) it is easy to forget things.

Pose Fair ends tonight and I am hoping this is the equivalent of going out with a bang. I’ve enjoyed this tremendously and am likely going to take a day or so break from posting to recharge (maybe) before I start to see things from the February special edition for Valentine’s goes into effect. I would like to thank Ruby and Jason (as well as everyone else behind the scenes) for creating such an awesome environment to blog for. It is an honor to have been chosen by you for this event and I cannot express how much it means to me.

Getting down to it my last pose is from CORPUS Poses and is easily enough called “Him”. It is a varied set of standing and a sitting pose and one of them happened to be one where I am looking up which was perfect to get in just the right angle where I could simulate a demon vacating my avatar with a little bit of help from the LeLutka face hud (the facial expressions are not a part of the pose just to let you know). There are five poses to this set in all and they are all really usable in just about any situation you can think of.

To take a catchphrase from another show “TREAT YOSELF” and stop by the Pose Fair one more time or for the first time before it ends tonight. Your photography will thank you for it and that is something I can genuinely guarantee.

Corpus Poses – Him Pose Set

  • Bento enabled pose (bento viewer needed)
  • 5 different poses to choose from
  • Static poses for you to put in your own poseballs or pose stands
  • Exclusive to Pose Fair until 01/26/19 (Ends tonight so hurry!!!!)

For this blogs style, I decided on casual while combining and older release with a brand new one. My shirt comes from Deadwool and is called “Lorenzo”; it is a tucked in button down with shirt underneath. It’s one of those pieces of clothing I like to revisit and it just happens to pair up well with the “Roll Up Pants” by Native Urban which just hit the racks  at Uber a few days ago.

Gentleman if you like dress up style pants with a bit of a roll up cuff at the bottom then these are definitely your new jam. While single color options can be nice I can only stress how much of a value it is to get the complete FATPACK and give yourself many options to allow for pairing it with about any of the shirts in your virtual closets. To be able to change parts of it such as the belt, the pants and even the slight little bit of boxer shorts poking out I can’t find a better reason not to go all in.

Native Urban – Roll Up Pants

  • Original mesh
  • Single options sold seprately
  • FATPACK includes HUD to change 7 parts (14 colors available)
  • Fitted for Signature (Gianni) and Maitreya (Lara) for the ladies
  • Currently exclusive to Uber until 02/23/19

On that note I think it is time to finish this up with giving you all the style information that pertains to this look and of course if there is something here that you see that you are interested in that is not listed then first check my Credits page which lists what head, skin, and body that I am presently wearing on a consistent basis. If it is anything else then get a hold of me through social media or by email which is on my about page.

Time to go celebrate all the creativity I’ve had with the Pose Fair and maybe relax with some games and time with great people. I will catch everyone again hopefully very soon but until then be well and start a conversation and keep it going.

Best regards,

B

[#582] Can’t Forget You

When anybody says your name I wanna run away,
I keep remembering I can’t forget you
It doesn’t matter when I try it happens anyway,
It’s been forever and I can’t forget you

My Darkest Days, ♫Can’t Forget You

From time to time I create playlists for my iPod (yes I still do that and don’t even know how to use Spotify) and these songs potentially serve as audio accompaniments for blogs based on the photos I have taken or vice versa. It just so happens that the mood that came from my visit to the MoB sim helped me choose the song to base this post on.

“Can’t Forget About You” is the anthem for anyone who has been in a relationship that has for some reason or another ended and has left a profound mark. As in one of those that has you reeling for a long time on both the good or bad side of the spectrum. I can safely say I have been in one of those in my lifetime so what about you?

While I was exploring MoB I came across the bar that helped me round out the image in my head of how I wanted to photograph the scene. It goes along with the lyrics in the song about essentially drinking your life away because of the hurt (which obviously I wouldn’t recommend). I also wanted to give it a last call kind of vibe as well.

Depending on what items I want to focus on in the blog I take more than one shot but with this I took a few with different lighting and worked them together to get one picture that I feel stands out on its own without having a need for another photo or close up.

The pose set featured in this post is by KMA Poses and is called “Standing Pose Set”; it is designed for male use but I see the potential of going out of the box and maybe with minor adjustments a woman could utilize it as well. It has five poses in the set and also includes mirrored versions to find your best angle and lighting which is definitely a plus.

Finding new pose stores is what I think is core for the Pose Fair itself it gives designers that may not be widely known a chance to shine their brightest and connect with photographers and bloggers to help them reach their vision for a certain scene, profile shot or even just something to throw up on social media. My list of new stores is increasing which is alright with me.

KMA Poses – Standing Pose Set

  • Bento enabled poses (bento viewer required)
  • 10 poses in all (5+5 mirror versions)
  • Static and poseball versions in the set
  • Exclusive to Pose Fair until 01/26/19

My outfit has nothing as far as new releases but the top I am wearing recently became a part of my wardrobe. FE Style has a long sleeved shirt that when I bought it was a part of the Saturday Sale a few weeks ago and had I tried it on sooner I would have went back and purchased more of them. I don’t have a problem with going back and getting more off sale if need be but I’ll see how things go.

The jeans I have on are becoming a staple in my current favorite list. Cold-Ash’s “HOLLOWAY Ripped Jeans” just look great on me and with the option of several denim colors I can wear them for different photos and not be overly repetitive; it also makes sense that they work well with the “ROVIDH Shirt” that I was just writing about.

Lately I have been coming back to the “Slicked Back Hair” by Deadwool and “Bristle Beard” by Birth because the combination seems to help me feel the most like how I want to represent myself virtually. I go through phases much like many others with style of hair or beard with nearly unlimited choices at my disposal but familiar doesn’t hurt in my book.

On that note I think the bar is closed up on this blog and unlike the old saying “You don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here”, you are allowed to browse through previous entries and possibly leave some words of encouragement or just say that you stopped by. I should certainly take my own advice on that and visit some other wonderful bloggers and let them know that their work is fantastic. I am signing off now but keep your heads up, stay positive, and keep up the conversation.

Warmest regards,

B
