[#492] There’s A Light Up Ahead

Take this heart of darkness
I give it up
and all the emptiness
you fill it up
The times that I feel nothing
you bring enough
So I can live for something
You lift me up!

Further Seems Forever, ♫Light Up Ahead

June is now upon us and it seems like time sure does fly because it just feels like the year just started but we’re already halfway through it. The start of a new month means the restocked events that we love like FaMESHed, The Men’s Department, and of course for those of you Gachapon addicts…THE ARCADE! I hope that while I’m working to get caught up with things that I’ll have items from all these events so that you can get a taste of them from my perspective.

It’s been a while since I’ve covered anything from the Shiny Shabby event so I find myself in luck that my good people at Modulus have released a new hair at the event that honestly has me super excited. It seems a bit suspect that I’m totally gaga over a product by a brand that I’m a blogger for but if you know anything about me then you know that I blog for brands that I love and believe in and Modulus is one of those at the top and I’ve been a blogger for them from just about the beginning and it can easily be verified with little effort.

Okay! The details about this latest Modulus release from Shiny Shabby…the hair is named “Godfrey” and what makes this different from most of the releases is that you really do not need a hairbase for this. It is a parted hair with the side part built right into it without needing a hairbase as I just mentioned. Sometimes I have to resize hair to fit and make it look like it should on my head but I had to do very little with this and it’s made the “Godfrey” one of my top 5 faves of the hair releases in the last 6 months or so since Modulus started releasing products in the Alpha hair line.

40 different color options to choose from broken down into 5 different color HUDs all with an integrated color picker to add an extra bit of flavor in a sense. Of course you can purchase the packs separately or you can get all of them in a FATPACK for extra savings and then not worry about that moment when you wish you had bought more than one pack because you’re feeling like a change. I honestly think this hairstyle is old school cool and a bit vintage as well as unique because you don’t see anything like it out on the grid (but I have a feeling that it is going to trend but you saw it from Modulus first!)

Shiny Shabby is currently going strong and you have until the 15th of June to take a look at this great hair and add it to your style closet.

Go&See has released quite a few products lately including several eye packs as well as the skin that Brena is wearing, who as you can see has tagged along for this photo because I thought it would be a fun idea to throw her into the mix a bit more when I can and the ideas are there. I’ll get more to her in a bit but first I will tell you all about my peepers.

“Sparkle” is just one of two packs of the same name that you can currently find at the SaNaRae event and it is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul; it could also be said that these eyes are a good visual to prove that fact. There are 10 different color iris’ to choose from and I went with the closest blue to what my real eyes look like. The detail of them is super stunning and I’m not sure any photo taken in-world can do them justice, it is just something that has to be seen for itself.

They can easily be used for every day or you could use them also for any kind of role-playing situation you might find yourself in (if that is one of your hobbies). SaNaRae has just recently opened so there is plenty of time but in case your wallet has taken a pounding from The Arcade, you still have until the 18th of June to catch these eyes.

Lately I’ve been using a lot of poses from the store, WRONG, but with good reason as I really do love the poses that are made and also the collabs they do with The Owl store as well. It helps me create things that I have in my head a little bit easier which makes putting things together slightly less manic and stressful. I’ve been to several events they’ve released new products at and couldn’t resist picking them up knowing that even if I didn’t use them right that second that I would have a use for them.

I’m not sure how the numbering really works with them but this pose pack is the “Bento Static Male Poses – 37” which if they’ve come out with 37 different pose sets…that’s really super impressive! The somewhat funny part is that I likely have 3/4 of them and likely would go to their store and claim the ones that I previously didn’t own. To be perfectly honest I’d love to blog for them someday and maybe that could be a reality but for now that’s not a point. This pack contains 4 different bento static stand poses of high quality.

You can find this pose set at the current round of Ultra which the doors will close for this round on the 10th of June which gives you over a week to go take a look at their booth which has other pose sets as well so there’s plenty of posing options for you and your photography.

Brena has come out to assist me for this post and she has a little bit of everything going on with her look, some things older and previously blogged as noted and a few things that may not be new but are new to her along with one new product at a current event, so let’s dive into the specifics shall we?

Earlier in the post I talked about new releases from Go&See which one of them were the eyes I am wearing and the other is “Tina”, the skin that Brena is wearing. This is the first time I’ve used a skin from Go&See that was not male and I’m rather impressed by all the options that come along with them as far as brows and freckles for the face and all the body skin options.

The face skin works for both Catwa and Omega enabled mesh heads which is great for me because Brena’s noggin of choice is LeLutka’s “Chloe”. I felt that when I was putting her together I didn’t want to give her a CATWA head because I know so many people with them that I wanted to diversify from it. There is also a plus that the HUDs for the head are ridiculously awesome and are jam packed with features. However, with that said there’s always pro’s and con’s to everything which I won’t get into here because then it would turn a simple blog into nearly a manifesto of some sort.

Getting back to the face, it comes in 8 tones (Albi, Goth, Pale, Summer, Tan, Dark Tan, Tropic, and Cola) with 5 brow options (No brows, white brows, light brows, dark brows, and brow with freckles) which gives you a lot of options to find that right combination to make your girl face super pretty! The body appliers in the same 8 tones as the face skins are sold separately and have so many options that it just blows my mind and would take me forever to try to explain them all so I’m going to give you the abridged version. There are several styles of breasts as well as butts which also gives you a lot of customization to work with all on an Omega applier which will work for just about every body out there.

For attire she tagged the lucky boards at Petit Mort and came home with a flowery camisole and some jeans. She did also get some really great rose printed flats but those didn’t make it into the shot so I may have to photograph them down the line because they are really nice and well worth hanging around the store for the first letter of your name to spring up.

By now I’m sure you’ve either skipped to the credits or just got tired of reading altogether and I don’t blame you because I do tend to get wordy when I get on a roll with writing these things but if you managed to make it here to the end I applaud you and thank you for taking the time to see what all I had to say. Hopefully soon I’ll be getting back to a more regular schedule with blog posts, it’s been a seemingly wild past month but the ideas are still inside my brain and I look forward to sharing them.

Until our paths cross again…onto the next conversation

[#482] I Wish…

‘Cause when it comes to playing basketball
I’m always last to be picked
And in some cases never picked at all
So I just lean upon the wall
Or sit up in the bleachers with the rest of the girls
Who came to watch their men ball

Skee-Lo, ♫I Wish

With as many times as you’ve seen me do a photo with a basketball theme to it that I’m some kind of superfan but in reality it’s probably the one sport I watch the least. Not that I have any extreme dislike for it but it just doesn’t appeal to me like Baseball does (as it seems to be more of a chess match to me). I can also say though that it is easier to capture in a photo and more designers are making poses and props that represent it.

For example, take the pose and prop that I’m using in today’s entry. It’s the “Backyard Basketball” set from Image Essentials (a TCK blog partner) that is currently available at the eBento event. This is probably one of their more intensive products as not only do you have the front of the garage with asphalt driveway but you also have poses that are for single use and also poses for two people (to create one on one action scenes). Unfortunately at the time I was doing this photo there was no one available to work with so I went solo (like Han…yep corny I know).

You can check this item out at eBento until the 30th of April and if by some odd reason you procrastinate (which is a BAD idea) then you’ll be able to find it at the store shortly thereafter…but seriously go take a look.

April has been quite the busy month for the Modulus brand, which has just released (and thankfully right when I needed it) “Anthony” a backwards snapback cap with a tuft of hair sticking out of the hole above the snap strip. While in real life I personally prefer fitted hats (there seem to be very few of any good quality on the grid of the mesh variety) this hat is the best thing for headwear junkies like myself.

25 colors in 5 different HUDs (complete with integrated tinting as well as an the ability to change the design of the cap to which there are 6 options). For those of you who like to change your hair color on a whim a FATPACK is available at a discounted price which gives you all the colors and you’ll save a little pocket change. I’ve always often said that if you can’t choose on just one thing and there’s several to do the math and you’ll find that it’s better to buy everything at once and save yourself the hassle of spending extra money down the road.

“Anthony” is a part of the Shiny Shabby event that runs from the 20th of April until the 15th of May, lots of great items and designers from clothing, poses and home decoration; is very much worth grabbing a taxi ride from the credits below.

Although I’ve previously blogged the “FLAME” tattoo by { Speakeasy } this is probably one of the best and closest views that I’ve ever posted in a photo as I’m wearing clothes most of the time and rarely show much skin. I really am fond of this tattoo and in the past I usually would never wear one for more than a short time but this one has really won me over. I think that it has elements of some of my favorite things (roses, ravens, as well as clocks) and has a very true saying just under the right pec that says “Hearts are wild creatures that is why our ribs are cages”. I find that to be very true and if they were just free to roam you never know what kind of trouble they could get into or damage they could endure.

Kalback (formerly Kal Rau) has been around for ages and I haven’t really kept up with the brand all that much since they returned several years ago; it’s not because I’m no longer a fan it just seems that other things just took precedence or was more in my style wheelhouse. Their “Sweat Shorts M3” happened to be just the thing I needed for my outfit as I felt that if I was going to shoot hoops shirtless that wearing long pants would defeat the purpose of my styling. It’s probably a weird thought but just go with me on it would you?

These shorts are available at the current round of the Man Cave event which is ongoing until May 1st so you’ve still go time to check out all the guy goodness!

It could also be said that my look might be more 90’s inspired considering that I used Skee-Lo’s “I Wish” as the soundtrack for the blog post. This song has been entertained by me to be used in previous blogs but I just decided on something else because it might not have fit the way I wanted it to. This time I do think it does hit the right point that I wanted to achieve.

One final thing before I wrap this up, is I wanted to make mention that the shoes I am wearing are a Limited Edition of the FLI. Low Sk8 shoes that I’ve worn several times through the course of entries on the site. They are all black with flames on the side part of the sole of the shoe. I realized after I had finished with everything that I did not get a close-up of them but considering I blogged a version of them before (as well as the fact they are in limited quantity) running out and grabbing them before they are gone completely. There is also a Hi version of the shoe as well and they are both together to the right side of the store as you walk in. I couldn’t pass these up the moment I saw the ad for them and hopefully if there’s anyone reading this and likes them as much as I do that you are able to get them too.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and taking it as easy as possible. There’s more to come of course as I’ve got some goods from the newly open Men Only Monthly and of course more from Shiny Shabby which also reopened for it’s April/March round; I also hope to have at least one more look at this current round of Pose Fair before it closes as well so stay tuned!

Until our paths cross again, onto the next conversation…

[#472] I Will Be There Once More…

You don’t have to stray
Two oceans away
Waves roll in my thoughts

Pearl Jam, ♫Oceans

Whenever I come across a Fisherman’s beanie (whether it be one with or without hair included) I feel that my scenes should have something to do with water and boats and or both. So after I received the Kenny hair from Modulus my first thought would be to find a location with those things in mind. Fortunate enough for me as I was looking at one of my resources for locations to potentially take photos at I instantly saw Erebos Harbor and I took a cab there.

Shortly after I started to explore and walk around, I found the perfect location. There was a dock with several boats and a great view of the ocean and that to me felt like a winner. After getting set up and getting everything just right (in my eyes anyway) I went to work and from that this photo came to pass.

Lighting is something I struggle with at times and half of the time getting things to look how I think they should (or want them to). With this pic I do feel like all the conditions were right and I was satisfied with the outcome and I do hope it shows to anyone taking a look as well.

At the beginning of the post I mentioned the Kenny hair by Modulus, which is available right now at Shiny Shabby (openened on the 20th). It’s a well made fisherman’s beanie with a fringe of hair coming out of the front and a little bit on the sides. I’ve been going with brown hair lately mainly because mine is that color in the real world. The hair comes in 5 color packs each with an integrated tinting HUD which also serves to help change the fabric color of the beanie (6 different shades).

If I were to do anything different about my look I would have given myself more facial hair, maybe more of a fisherman’s beard to go along with the beanie but it still turned out as a good look that works for me. Focusing on different angles and more singular products feels like it has been working out better for me since I started doing things a little bit differently

Recently I’ve just been posting one primary picture on the blog and not doing more than one but because I enjoyed the scenery around me at Erebos Harbor, I thought I would capture myself from another angle and get more of the water, and with the type of ambience I had really just gave me that feeling that I made the right choice by deciding to come here.

You’ll also notice that I’m wearing the Fugitive Flannel from Razor that I picked up while I was browsing The Clique event when I was there. Actually there were a few things I grabbed but whether I get around to blogging them while the event is running is yet to be seen. A lot of irons in the fire going on right now and I definitely do not want to burn myself out or not think of it as being fun. That is one of the sure signs and death knell’s of a blogger.

A few more details about the Flannel are that it comes fitted for Belleza male bodies but also has fits for several women’s bodies and it is made so that it is loose fitting to avoid anything poking through that might do so. I am wearing the blue version but it also comes in both black and yellow just in case blue is not a color you tend to wear a lot. I wear a lot of things that are usually black so it was down to blue or yellow for me and while yellow would have been fun, I think when the idea for this photo was formulating blue was the best choice.

Recently I found out that myself and 19 others (Lucky was also included in the 20 woohoo) were selected as the official bloggers for Pose Fair for 2018. I couldn’t be more excited as I’ve been going to the event for longer than I can remember as a consumer and this year I will be a part of it as a blogger. This is one achievement that I honestly never expected but I am going to make the very best of it. For the other official bloggers, congrats on your being selected as well I know some great work is going to come out of this all around.

The event starts April 1st and runs through the 30th so you have a whole entire month to check out all the goods that will be showcased to help you aid you in your creative blogging and photography. I have seen a lot of the designers that are apart of this and there are well known stores and there are some that you may not be familiar with and I hope to help bridge that as well.

It’s once again that time for me to wrap this up and look towards the future (as now I have plenty to plan for). We’ll see what tomorrow brings and I hope that I can get those creative brain waves going on whatever and wherever I am lead to. If there’s anything you might have a question about feel free to contact me through social media which you can find the access to on the right sidebar of the page or in the about me section.

Until then onto the next conversation…

{#440} Whenever The Rain…

Whenever the rain is pouring on me
You’ll be shining in my memory
Wherever I go, you’re always with me
You’ll be shining in my galaxy

Galaxy♫ – Like A Storm

This post is definitely not as edgy as the last one but it is of a very serious nature. A lot of people around me have suffered personal losses and I myself have suffered some that have impacted me over the years which is why I am dedicating this particular blog entry to anyone out there who has or is currently dealing with a loss. It doesn’t have to be blood, it can be a close friend or even a furry member of the family. It all counts one way or another because it’s in our hearts and in our memories.

The idea for this shoot was meant to be simple and it didn’t have to contain items from new events or anything like that…I just wanted it to be me and whatever location spoke to me. Going through my thoughts about different places I’ve been, I looked to see if any of the Trace sims were still kicking around and found that the Fall Trace was still intact. I traveled there and roamed around for a bit when I found my spot and I feel that with the shots I’ve taken and some of the after magic thrown in, I really captured something emotional and fitting of the topic of the conversation.

Only two things in my look are new, the skin is a new and much overdo release from LV Designs (Thank you Lee!!!) and the hair is from my good brother Chucky Hollak of the Modulus brand. Putting them together with the rest of the look just gelled very well and I felt really good about the look and the location of this shoot. The turnout of the entire process is something that I’m in a bit of wonderment about. Things just click sometimes and I think because I wanted this to make even a small amount of impact. When you truly feel it deep in your bones that’s when some of your best work shines through.

You might have noticed that in the photos I’ve changed the wordmark, which is something I opted to do with the new year and also with some of the newer things I’ve been learning I wanted to refresh things up a bit. I’ve also done so with the headers of each of the different item categories in the style credits area. If I get enough of an inclination I may even freshen up the main site header (it’s been a thought I’ve entertained over the course of the last few days).

Time for me to wrap up this up and get you to the credits so that you can see how long it takes for your wallet to empty (just kidding!). I hope you find something you like in this blog entry and I’ll be back again soon with another look for you; it’s been my pleasure.

Onto the next conversation…

HAIR: Modulus – Jake Hair – BROWNS @ District20NEW

This short, messy hairstyle is one that you can use with a variety of different hairbase types and still look good. As with other hairs in the Modulus Alpha line it is available in 5 different colors packs with 5 colors in each pack or all together in one very affordable FATPACK. Lately I’ve been kinda of switching back and forth between all different styles of hair but for those of you out there who are not bloggers and are a fan of the short skater/surfer messy look this is definitely a hair that fit the bill.

HEAD: CATWA – Daniel
EYES: AG. Hope Eyes (Ocean)
FACE: ::LV:. Brennan ⚜ NEW

It’s been some time since a new skin has been released by LV Designs and I was luckily enough the first person to get my hands on it (and also was fortunate enough to even have it named after me…which is a very huge honor). This skin was created for the CATWA “Daniel” head (which is what it looks best on as I did try it on Victor). This is just the facial applier only but it is compatible with Stray Dog body applier (Tone 4). I’m used to wearing a lot lighter tones but being that this face looks very striking I may have to give this a good run for a while.

Ana Poses – Ljubljana @ Shiny ShabbyNEW

While I’m not super familiar with Ana Poses, I do know they make really good ones that I’ve seen at events all over the grid. While I was at Shiny Shabby looking into another pose I found these male poses that I knew could be useful. There are 5 different poses (two of them being a kneel an a sitting pose). They are bento capable for those of you that do not have a body that is not bento compliant these poses will not likely be useful to you in the way they are intended.

[#429] Let’s All Make Believe

So let’s all make believe
That we’re still friends and we like each other
Let’s all make believe
That in the end we’ll need each other

Let’s All Make Believe♫ – Oasis

The last few days have been somewhat of a rush out in the real world and I have to admit that I did this photo shoot a few days ago with the intention of getting it put out nearly as soon as I finished taking the pics. However, life and a case of laziness hit me and so it just ended up taking a little longer than I anticipated. The end results though are pleasing to me and I feel like maybe I’m starting to get some of my creative mojo back after having thought I’d lost it a little bit. Artists of all types go through these periods and it is understandable the pressure we put on ourselves to create better work than what has come before it.

I did a little exploring and found an interesting new place that I have never been to before called The Dirty Grind. It’s not as winterized as most of the other locations on the grid so I had an easier time committing to doing the scene here especially after I found the broken merry go round; that is what sold my interest. That one piece in the scene tells a lot about the current status in the world and also fits in with the music theme I picked.

In this post I’m featuring a brand new hair from my brand partner, Modulus. The brand took some time to better perfect their hair making and from this release and some previews of upcoming releases it is an exciting time for us fellas out there who are always on the lookout for new ‘dos. Once again I’m wearing the “Hope Eyes” from Avi-Glam as I just can’t seem to pull myself away from them at the moment. I didn’t take any closeups in this shoot because I am wearing the Fern color that I wore in the last blog post.

There’s now a new round of The Men’s Department (TMD) open with a bunch of great items (such as the Modulus hair I’ve just mentioned). Events I’ve also been to that items from this look are from include Shiny Shabby and also Men Only Monthly (MOM).

There’s plenty more events and things to cover so I’m going put this baby to bed and start working on my next adventure and who knows where I’ll end up. With such a vast landscape and tools at my fingertips anything is possible. I’ll definitely see you again upon your return as we all look forward as it is much better than dwelling on the past regardless of it’s brightness or darkness.

Onto the next conversation…

HAIR⊱ Modulus – Alex Hair – FatPack @ TMDNEW

Taking a new direction with hair creation, Chucky Hollak and Modulus are taking the brand to a whole new level. This is the first release in the “Alpha Hair” line and as I stated above this is very exciting. I have actually spoken to him recently and he is just as excited about creating hair again and delivering quality to the men of Second Life. From wearing this hair and having blogged other Modulus releases in the past, I can tell you that the level of detail has definitely increased along with top notch textures. 5 color HUDs are available (they also come together in the FATPACK version) and each color pack has 5 colors to choose from as well as a tinting mechanism to get your hair just exactly how you want it.

HEADLeLutka – Andrea v 3.1

EYES⊱ AG. Hope Eyes – Fern @ Shiny ShabbyNEW

FACEStray Dog – Cody T2

BODYBelleza – Jake

HOODIEFashionNatic – STING FATPACK

Hooded sweatshirts are never out of fashion and if you are like me, you can never have just one laying around. Some have that one that is just their favorite and no matter how many you buy after it, it’s the one you always go to when you are headed out the door. When I saw the advert for this hoodie I thought it was really cool especially with the built in shirt (there is an option to wear it without the shit also). I felt the FATPACK was the best option to go with because of all the different combinations you can come up with and have control over. The value of it is really good as well.

BODY COMPATIBILITY: Adam, Aesthetic, Belleza, Signature (2 versions), SLink and TMP male bodies.

JEANS⊱ ED. W4ST Pant Rusted @ M.O.MNEW

Eclipse Designs have always had great clothing as far as I can remember but they haven’t always fit the body I’ve been wearing at the time. They have now released a product that fits the Belleza body and I couldn’t be more happy. These jeans are a cool concept because they mix the damaged/destroyed look with a bit of 80’s fashion with patches with studs in them. Most people would deny this but many back in that time had a studded bracelet and listen to bands like Motley Crue and Kiss.

BODY COMPATIBILTY: Altamura, Belleza, Signature and SLink male bodies.

SHOESFLI. – Black Canvas

One of my favorite pairs of shoes and now that they’ve been updated for the Belleza body it gives me more reason to drag out of my shoe closet. There’s nothing new about them other then the body updates so I don’t have anything more to share insight wise. These are just great shoes…period.

Photo Taken @ The Dirty Grind

WRONG & The Owl. Static Male Poses #8 (4)

I picked this set of poses up at one of last months events and somehow managed to move them in my inventory closet in a place they shouldn’t have been (likely by accident). I stumbled across them while looking for something else and found one in the set I liked for the setting of the scene. There are 5 poses in this pack and all of them are excellent and something I can use in the future.

[#428] Whatever It Takes

I do whatever it takes to make it
Break through anything I’m face to face with
It’s true, you gonna make me lose my patience
‘Cause victory is mine and I’mma take it

Whatever It Takes♫ – Hollywood Undead

This blog entry has been over a year in the making and I’m so glad it finally happened. Once again I’ve paired up with the super talented fellow swag master, Nile from the Double Trouble blog to bring you a super awesome collaboration. We have both been wanting to work together again since our first initial collaboration for Halloween last year. Schedules as you know don’t always permit but we finally were able to pin a day down to knock this out and man did we ever.

When I first saw the shopping guide for the Men Only Monthly event I knew that I just HAD to do something with the Heist gacha from BlankLine. When I came up with the idea for what Nile and I were going to do it was just natural that we put together a scene using some of the items from it. We both took different looks for our type of bank robber with Nile taking a more urban approach and me going with a more classical old school bank robber. Both of us gear up with BPV’s (Bullet Proof Vests) to keep us safe in case we encountered any trouble from the 5-0.

Products that I’m featuring in this post mostly comprise of items from the BlankLine gacha which is currently up for sale at Men Only Monthly; so if you yourself have an idea for a gangster or bank heist type composition that’s a good place to start with.

I’m also once again featuring the “Hope Eyes” from Avi-Glam (a brand partner) for this look because I am really enamored with the eyes in this set and their detail is fantastic. There is not one color out of this set that I wouldn’t wear for a shoot if it was what called for it.

As I wrap up another entry I look back at the process of this collaboration and I could be more happy or excited with how it turned out; I also look forward to future collaborations with Nile as well as anyone else who’d like to do team-up in the upcoming year. 2018 will be one of more collaborations and working with people who I admire as well as want to work with to try new things.

For more information on Nile and his blog, Double Trouble, just click on the blog name which is linked and there you’ll get to see his other works as well as work from his co-author, Macie, you’ll also be able to see his version of this shoot as well as his style credits!

That’s all I’ve got for this adventure be sure to check back again for the road ahead and it’s been an honor and a pleasure.

Onto the next conversation…

HAIRStealthic – Psycho

This was one of my Black Friday sale goodies as I really liked this hair and knew that I could find something good to use it with. When this scene idea came into my head I knew it was the prefect hair for me to use. I originally was going to pair it with one of the face wraps in the BlankLine gacha but I opted to leave my face uncovered as it was post robbery. This hair has 6 different color HUDs to choose from as well as a HUD for changing the color of the beanie. What’s even cooler about this is there is a styling HUD to change the appearance of the hair in different positions and styles.

EYES⊱ AG. Hope Eyes – Fern @ Shiny ShabbyNEW

For a second straight post (if you check back at my last entry you’ll get more info on this product) I’m wearing these eyes but went with the Fern color as it matched the scene considering all the money that is around the two bank robbers.

OUTFIT⊱ BlankLine – Gang Bullet Proof Vest Suits (02) RARE @ M.O.MNEW

It wasn’t an easy task much as robbing a bank would be I imagine to pull this item from the machine being that it is a RARE. Though I persevered so that I could use it for this look as it was an integral part of the scene that I was setting up. As with my usual blogs I post what bodies my clothes and accessories work with but this suit does not specify, however, I believe that it would work with just about any male body with alphas clicked off. I’m wearing the Belleza body and it looks good without any problems.

GLOVES⊱ BlankLine – Gang Glove @ M.O.MNEW

Another part of BlankLine’s “Heist” gacha, these gloves are bento enabled and I alpha’d out my hands and this worked great with my body in combination with the suit and the pose. These are definitely something that would be fun to mess around with on other projects so it is something that could be used again and has a high re-use value. Worth a pull of the gacha or if you know someone that will trade or give you a copy it’s well worth it.

WRONG & The Owl. Human Race @ M.O.MNEW

I managed to find 3/4 of all that was used in this scene at Men Only Monthly, including this pose. What was really nice about this pose as that it needed no adjusting other than a minor tweak of my body shape which wasn’t even that big of a deal. I thought this really captured the tone of the two robbers settling in after heist and celebrating their victory in front of their spoils. This is also a great pose you can use with a really good friend or even a family member for a photo.

[#427] Swing Life Away

I’ve been here so long, I think that it’s time to move
The winter’s so cold, summer’s over too soon
Let’s pack our bags and settle down where palm trees grow

Swing Life Away♫ – Rise Against

It’s not very often that I actually shoot any scenes from my own house but I didn’t really feel like using a backdrop or finding a location to set up in so I came up with an idea that allowed me to stay where I was at. I enjoyed how I was able to combine good ambience with lighting and of course my instant go to LUMIPro. Personally I feel like this is a small victory because it was fun to come up with and it was not stressful to put together.

When I first started putting this together, I didn’t have a song that was an inspiration as often times I do before going into setting up a scene. As I was thinking about various genre’s of music I knew I wanted something laid back; I almost automatically recalled “Swing Life Away”. It had the right feel and helped me with getting the best visual with the look and poses I combined.

As I was taking photos from different angles from close and further away, I found myself liking a majority of them so for this entry I added an extra shot I found favorable in addition to my main “storytelling” shot and the usual two featured product close-ups.

Brand partners that I am featuring in this entry’s look consist of Avi-Glam (eyes) and Image Essentials (Poses). I managed to go out and do a little shopping outside of the search for bargains during the Black Friday events and checked out a new event called District 23 (not to be confused with the District 20 event that I have intentions of covering) as well as another stop to The Men’s Department.

Now that you’ve had the chance to look at what I’ve put into this look, I’ll leave you with the style credits (which are as complete as they possibly can). I believe these stores and events have something for just about every fella out there and even some of the gals as well. Enjoy your next shopping excursion and remember to pick up demos before deciding on a purchase as there is nothing worse then buyer’s remorse (and I know we’ve all been there). Thanks for joining me for this adventure and I will see you again soon.

HAIR+elua+ Pippa Black Pack

During the course of my Black Friday shopping excursion I decided to see what +elua+ had going on as far as hairstyles considering I have not visited the shop in some time. I did not find anything in the regular hairstyles but I did see the gacha machine that this hair is from and played it to be able to get a black pack of this hair and with a little size adjusting it was perfect on my head. Personally I like having longer hair on my pixels during what I would consider the fall/winter season even though some places don’t really observe because it is unnecessary (we are pixels after all ha!)

EYES⊱ AG. Hope Eyes – Aqua @ Shiny ShabbyNEW

Eyes are often the best feature on a person because when you look into someone’s eyes it has been said that you can look into their soul; this new set of eyes like previous Avi-Glam releases does not disappoint. 24 different iris colors (including the one you can see a close-up of in the product shot above) that come in 3 sizes. These are excellent for everyday wear and for those of you who may not be bloggers or photographers could easily be a great permanent eye to wear. Mesh eyes are included in the package and a FATPACK is also available.

COMPATIBLE With: CATWA, OMEGA, and regular (for included mesh eyes) applier HUDs.

TATTOO⊱ { Speakeasy } Storm Tattoo @ District 23NEW

Very seldom do I wear or feature body ink as I’ve expressed before in previous entries but it’s not for lack of liking them. Most of the time it’s for the fact I wear products that would generally cover them up and would defeat the purpose of wearing them. When I was putting this current look together I saw an add for this tattoo and knew that I would not be wearing anything on the upper half of my body. The tattoo comes in three different opacity types (Fresh, Worn, and Faded) and you can get it at District 23 along with other types of ink and poses to enjoy.

COMPATIBLE With: Omega, Signature and TMP applier HUDs.

PANTS⊱ AITUI – Sweat Pants – Loyalty, Grey @ TMDNEW

Only a few more days left for the current round of TMD to get your hands on these sweatpants by AITUI. There are several different designs and colors available at the event but they are definitely great for just lazing around your dwelling while you are AFK or just relaxing doing nothing. I think these are really cool and very well made.

COMPATIBLE With: Belleza, Signature, SLink and TMP male bodies.

IE – Daily Things (b) (1 / 3) @ Designer CircleNEW

I really do enjoy taking poses that are not meant normally for males and putting them to work for me. This great set of poses (5 total with mirrors) also comes with two pose props (a phone and a magazine). The poses depict motions some of us make in our normal routines which is why to me the name of the set is appropriate. You can pick this up at the Designer Circle event which is open until the 2nd of December so there is still time…hurry!
