[#426] In A World So Cold

Now I don’t believe men are born to be killers
I don’t believe the world can’t be saved
How did it get here and when did it start?
An innocent child with a thorn in his heart?

World So Cold♫ – 12 Stones

How’s it going everyone? I thought I’d take a step back from all the events and shopping madness that’s been going on over the past few days and just put together something that I thought was fun. I chose to dip into the nerd pool with a few shout outs to some things I enjoy in the real world. Putting this scene together was refreshing because I didn’t feel any kind of pressure to try and figure out the perfect angle to display a product. It was just doing something for the heck of it and if it turned out then so be it.

I thought it might be fun to delve into an undead apocalypse since I haven’t done so in a while and it seems these shots tend to go well for me in an inspirational sense. I carried over the Blake Oxfords from the last shoot because I just like them so much and knew they’d go with the rest of the outfit I planned on wearing. Everything else is a mixture of different things I purchased recently from events that have past or just stores I traveled to.

Unfortunately one of my favorite parts of this look, the “Snakehood” by KROVA is no longer available for sale. I had found it on the marketplace late last year and apparently the owner had removed some of his older merchandise and replaced it with newer things. One of the things I liked about it is that there were several different visor looks that resemble a certain “Real American Hero” that was a badass ninja who never uttered a word. Some of you will get who I am referring to and for the rest of you I’ll just say that you missed out on something cool.

This happens to be one of the easiest put together scenes and shoots that I’ve had in a while and felt effortless. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did creating it and it gets your creative fluids moving to find a location or build to take some cool photos. I also encourage you to give all the stores that I’ve put in this scene as well. They work hard to create products that people will want to take home with them.

Now that I’ve said just about all I can about this entry I’ll leave you to look over the entire style credits as I prepare for the next adventure wherever it may lead me.

Onto the next conversation…

BODYBelleza – Jake

MASK⊱ [KROVA] Snakehood ♯ Not Available
As previously mentioned this item is no longer being sold and it makes me sad because I think anyone who might want it now after seeing it here will be disappointed. Maybe the creator will bring it back at some point in time as it is not technically an old item as far as mesh standards go. I’ve enjoyed this brand’s role-play style products for years now and they continue to keep making cool things.

SUITMeshmerized – Padded Suit
After seeing an ad for this item I instantly became a fan. Very few items of clothing in world have glove like sleeves and I like touches such as that so I sought out the store to pick it up. It comes with a HUD to color change the suit with 4 different colors for the top and bottom. I think the only thing I would change about this and it is not a complaint by any means is I would have added a white suit to the other colors provided; I think it would have made for an interesting look.

COMPATIBLE With: Aesthetic, Belleza, Signature, Tweenster (2 Sizes) and Maitreya for the gals.

SHOES⊱ [MODA] BLAKE OXFORDS @ Man CaveNEW

BACKDROPSAYO – The Undead Heard You
I would have loved to have come up with this idea around Halloween time when I first found this backdrop. It’s got a great feel to it and sets the undead apocalypse mood very high. The Zombies that are after me are not apart of the scene, they come from a prop from COME SOON Poses and the gun props are from a pose set by the brand Perimeter.

Animosity x Schitt – Apocalypse Pose Pack (6 / 3)
One of my Black Friday shopping purchases, I thought these poses would work great for what I was planning to do even before I fully committed to doing it. I honestly do like the poses that Animosity does and that’s not just some bs session. I honestly enjoy the poses they release as I have been able to create some good scenes with the ones I have bought in the past.
